As an Honours English student at University of Winnipeg, I realized that telling true stories was to be my life’s work, and so I pursued post-baccalaureate studies in journalism. On my convocation from University of King’s College in 2010, I returned home to rural Manitoba to become a community news reporter, photographer, and editor. Professionally, the lifelong pursuit of a passion for storytelling guides my vision. Pivoting from journalism to public relations, I assumed the role of a communications specialist at a girls’ school in Winnipeg six years ago. Education is a cause I support wholeheartedly.

As a Grit & Virtue Advocate, I empower women by using my voice and influence to equip them to grow in their identity, faith and works. Ultimately, my role is to be a reliable presence on the journey, and to sow love and light into women in our community as they pursue their mission.
